How to Accept and Complete Favors
As a favorecedor, your primary workflow is browsing available favors, accepting the ones that suit you, completing the tasks, and submitting proof. This guide covers the entire lifecycle of a favor from your perspective — from first seeing it in your feed to receiving your payment.
Your commitment matters. Once you accept a favor, you are committing to complete it. Only accept favors you are confident you can fulfill within the specified timeframe.
The Favor Lifecycle
Step-by-Step Workflow
- Browse available favors in your department — Open the app and check your feed for favors available in your geographic area. Filter by category, price, or distance to find the best matches.
- Read the task details carefully — Before accepting, review the full description, specific location, offered price, deadline, and any special instructions from the requester. Make sure you understand exactly what is expected.
- Accept the favor — Tap the accept button to commit. Once accepted, the requester is notified and the favor is assigned to you. You are now responsible for completing it.
- Go to the location and complete the task — Travel to the specified location and carry out the requested task. Follow all instructions provided by the requester.
- Upload GPS-verified proof — Take photos and/or videos at the location with GPS enabled. The app automatically embeds your GPS coordinates and timestamp. Upload all evidence through the app.
- Wait for the requester to review and confirm — The requester receives your proof and reviews it. They can approve, request additional evidence, or raise a dispute.
- Payment is processed to your Payoneer account — Once confirmed, your earnings are added to your weekly payout batch and transferred to your Payoneer account.
Tips for Success
Follow these best practices to maintain a high rating and earn more:
- Only accept favors you can complete — Do not accept a favor if you are unsure about the location, the task, or your availability. Cancelling after acceptance hurts your reputation.
- Communicate with the requester — Use the in-app chat to ask questions, clarify instructions, or provide updates. Requesters appreciate proactive communication.
- Take clear, well-lit photos — Blurry or dark photos may be rejected. Take your photos during daylight when possible and ensure the subject is clearly visible.
- Include context in your photos — Capture street signs, business names, or building numbers to provide additional location verification.
- Be professional and timely — Complete favors within the agreed timeframe. If you encounter delays, notify the requester immediately via chat.
- Handle items with care — If the favor involves purchasing or delivering items, treat them as if they were your own. Damaged items lead to disputes.
Cancellation policy: Cancelling a favor after acceptance without a valid reason negatively affects your rating. Repeated cancellations may result in temporary suspension of your account.
Communicating with the Requester
The in-app chat is your primary communication channel with the requester. Use it to:
- Confirm specific details about the task before starting
- Report unexpected situations (store closed, item out of stock, etc.)
- Ask for clarification on special instructions
- Send quick photo updates during the task
- Notify about any delays or changes
Pro tip: Requesters who see active communication from their favorecedor are more likely to leave positive reviews and tip. Keep them in the loop throughout the process.
After Completion
Once the requester approves your proof:
- Your earnings are recorded in your account dashboard
- The favor moves to "Completed" status
- The requester can leave a rating and review
- Your completion count increases (unlocking potential bonuses)
- Payment is included in your next weekly Payoneer payout
