How to Pay on HEF

Whether you have a debit card, use mobile money, or pay in cash — we've got you covered. No one is left out.

Two Sides, Simple Rules

Solicitante (Requester)

The person requesting a favor — from anywhere in the world or inside Nicaragua.

Debit/Credit Card

Pay through the app. HEF takes 17% fee automatically.

Cash (Local Favors Only)

Pay the favorecedor directly in cash when the favor is done.

Favorecedor (Helper)

The verified person in Nicaragua who completes the favor.

Card-Paid Favors

You receive 83% directly to your account. Simple.

Cash-Paid Favors

You collect 100% in cash. HEF's 17% is tracked as your balance and auto-deducted from your next card-paid earnings.

Auto-Withhold

If you owe a balance and get a card-paid favor, HEF withholds extra to cover it.

How Cash Settlements Work

When a favor is paid in cash, the favorecedor owes HEF 17%. It's settled automatically — no manual transfers needed.

STEP 1

Favor Completed

Favorecedor collects C$1,500 cash

STEP 2

Balance Tracked

C$255 added to balance owed (17%)

STEP 3

Next Card Favor

Favorecedor completes a card-paid favor

STEP 4

Auto-Deducted

HEF withholds extra from payout to clear balance

Example: C$1,500 Cash Favor

Favor price C$1,500
Favorecedor collects (cash) C$1,500
HEF fee owed (17%) C$255
Favorecedor keeps C$1,245
C$255 auto-deducted from next card payout

Automatic Settlement

No manual transfers. No extra steps. HEF handles everything automatically.

Auto-Withhold from Card Earnings

When you complete a card-paid favor, HEF automatically withholds extra from your payout to cover any cash balance you owe. You don't have to do anything — it happens automatically.

Balance Limit: C$1,500

If your unpaid cash balance reaches C$1,500, your account is paused until it's cleared. To keep accepting cash favors, make sure to do card-paid favors regularly so your balance stays low.

Zero Effort

No bank transfers, no manual payments, no paperwork. Just keep doing favors and HEF settles everything for you automatically.

Rules & Limits

1

Maximum Unpaid Balance: C$1,500

If your unpaid balance reaches C$1,500, your account is paused until you settle. You can't accept new favors until you pay.

2

Do Card Favors to Clear Your Balance

The only way to settle your cash balance is through card-paid favors. HEF auto-deducts what you owe from your next card-paid earnings. Mix in card favors regularly to keep your balance low.

3

Track Your Balance in the App

Your cash balance is always visible in your dashboard. You'll get a reminder when it's getting close to the C$1,500 limit.

4

No Cash for International Favors

Cash payment is only available for Local Favors (within Nicaragua). International requests must pay by card.

No Bank Account? No Problem.

HEF is built for everyone. If you don't have a bank account, you can still use the platform:

Solicitantes: Pay by card or cash for local favors

Favorecedores: Collect cash, balance auto-clears from card earnings

Local favors: Cash-on-completion, face to face

Payoneer account: Free to create, easy to use from Nicaragua
