Favor Categories and Types
Haceme el Favor organizes all tasks into 3 main categories with a total of 24 service types. Each type has a suggested price range based on complexity, travel requirements, and typical completion time. This guide covers every category and service type available on the platform.
Mandados (Errands) — 8 Service Types
Mandados are physical errands that require a provider to go somewhere, buy or pick up something, and deliver it or confirm it is done. These are the most common favors on the platform.
- Store and Pharmacy Shopping (C$150 – C$2,400) — Purchase items from stores, supermarkets, or pharmacies. Provider buys the specified products and provides photo proof with receipt.
- Package Collection (C$150 – C$1,800) — Pick up a package, parcel, or envelope from a specific location such as a courier office, post office, or residence.
- Food and Item Delivery (C$150 – C$1,500) — Pick up prepared food, drinks, or specific items from one location and deliver them to another within the same city.
- Government Office Wait (C$300 – C$3,000) — Wait in line at a government office (INSS, CSJ, DGI, Alcaldia, etc.) on your behalf. The provider stands in the queue and handles the wait time.
- Specific Product Purchase (C$150 – C$3,600) — Find and buy a specific product that may require visiting multiple stores. Provider searches for the item and purchases it at the best price found.
- Laundry Pickup and Delivery (C$150 – C$900) — Drop off or pick up laundry, dry cleaning, or clothing items at a laundromat or tailor.
- Construction Materials (C$450 – C$4,500) — Purchase construction supplies, hardware, or building materials from ferreterias or construction supply stores.
- Phone and Service Recharges (C$150 – C$450) — Buy prepaid phone credit (saldo), internet packages, or top up service accounts at authorized agents.
Gestiones (Administrative) — 8 Service Types
Gestiones involve handling documents, certificates, payments, and official procedures. These tasks often require visiting government offices, banks, or institutions.
- Document Delivery (C$240 – C$1,800) — Physically deliver documents, letters, or envelopes to a specific person or office. Provider obtains confirmation of receipt.
- Certificate Retrieval (C$300 – C$2,400) — Obtain official certificates such as birth certificates, police records, academic transcripts, or other government-issued documents.
- Property Verification (C$450 – C$6,000) — Visit a property (house, land, building) and provide a detailed report with photos showing its current condition, occupancy, and surroundings.
- Check on Relative's House (C$300 – C$2,400) — Visit the home of a family member to verify their wellbeing, check the condition of the house, or deliver a message in person.
- Gift and Package Delivery (C$240 – C$1,800) — Purchase and personally deliver a gift, cake, flowers, or care package to a friend or family member. Provider can include a personal message.
- Municipal Procedures (C$450 – C$4,500) — Handle paperwork at the municipal government (Alcaldia), including tax payments, permit applications, or document requests.
- Registration and Enrollment (C$360 – C$3,000) — Complete registration or enrollment processes at schools, universities, clinics, or other institutions that require in-person presence.
- In-Person Bill Payments (C$150 – C$900) — Pay utility bills (electricity, water, internet, cable), loan installments, or other bills that require in-person payment at an office or agent.
Informacion (Information Gathering) — 8 Service Types
Informacion tasks involve gathering facts, taking photographs, verifying conditions, or collecting data from specific locations. These are ideal when you need to see or know something about a place in Nicaragua without being there.
- Location and Property Photos (C$240 – C$1,800) — Take high-quality photographs of a specific property, building, neighborhood, or landmark. All photos include GPS metadata for verification.
- Business Hours Confirmation (C$150 – C$600) — Visit a business, clinic, office, or store to verify and report their current operating hours, availability, and contact information.
- Leave a Note or Message (C$150 – C$600) — Physically deliver a written note, message, or letter to a specific person or location. Provider confirms delivery with photo proof.
- Store Price Verification (C$150 – C$900) — Visit one or more stores to check and report current prices for specific products, including photos of price tags or displays.
- Location Visit and Report (C$300 – C$1,800) — Visit a specific location and provide a written report about its current state, activity, accessibility, or any observed details.
- Event Photo and Video Coverage (C$450 – C$4,500) — Attend a local event, celebration, ceremony, or gathering and provide photo and video documentation of the occasion.
- Land Condition Verification (C$450 – C$3,000) — Inspect a piece of land or agricultural property and report on its condition, boundaries, vegetation, and any structures present.
- Local Business Investigation (C$450 – C$3,600) — Research a local business, service provider, or establishment. Gather information about their services, prices, reputation, and legitimacy.
